Domes
A dome is an architectural element that resembles the hollow inner portion of a half sphere. Domes come in a wide variety of shapes and profiles.
We offer domes of various types. We present the domes in both plan and cross-sectional views to help you visualize the style (see examples below).
There are three (3) basic shapes of a dome in the plan view:
- a. circular
- b. elliptical
- c. elongated
In the cross-sectional view, we offer four (4) basic dome profiles:
- d. semi-circular
- e. semi-elliptical
- f. segmental
- g. quarter rounded
You can add a simple light or elegant chandelier from the center of the dome. In addition, we recommend decorating the edge of the dome with a border:
